EVENTS

Come explore the amazing flavors of Heritage Cider!  Meet cider makers from near and far and the farmers and producers of the cheese and foods that pair best with cider. Hear their stories and ours.  Taste the results in your glass and on your plate.

Most of our event tickets are available on Eventbrite: Please follow us there to stay on top of all upcoming events.

Unless otherwise noted, most events take place at our Boutique Taproom & Cheese Bar in Winooski, Vermont (map), and are limited to 20 people.

This 2.5-hour class, taught by cider author and researcher, Darlene Hayes, will cover the six sections of the Level 1 Certified Cider Professional exam: (1) Apples, the orchard & history (2) Cider making (3) Flavor & evaluation (4) Cider styles (5) Keeping & serving and (6) Food & cider. This class will prepare you to take the test for earning your Level 1 Certified Cider Professional status.

Explore Eden's heritage cider and artisan cheese made right here in Vermont with tasting specially designed pairings. We'll answer all those burning questions like: "How did the bubbles get into this cider?" and "Why is goat cheese always white?"

Participants will learn the difference between heritage cider and modern cider, as well as what distinguishes artisan cheese from others. We'll teach you how to build a perfect cheese plate to complement heritage ciders.

Teddy Weber of Tin Hat Cider will be in the house pouring his ciders and answering your questions. Stop by for a flight and learn about the magic he’s making in his 25 year old orchard in Waitsfield, VT.

Join us for this ultimate holiday taste experience as our taproom team pulls out all the stops!

We'll taste through a range of seasonal cheese and charcuterie, limited release ciders, specialty cocktails and more including ice cider aged for 6+ years in French oak and an 18 month old traditional Alpine cheese made by hand over open flame! We'll talk cider culture, holiday pairings, how to build the perfect cider cocktail and oh so much more!

Cider apple exploration

You've heard of wine grape varieties, but what about cider apple varieties? You won't find them in a grocery store any more than you would a bunch of pinot noir grapes. Taste and learn about the heritage of these apples and then taste what they become in your glass at the hands of heritage cider makers.
